The WHMC “Hot Topics” Seminar Collection is a monthly party curated by the WHMC Preparing Committee and supported by the Middle for Women’s Wellness Investigate and the Office of Pathology and Laboratory Drugs. The seminars are created to deliver jointly clinical and essential science school, fellows, people, graduate and health care learners, and undergraduates from throughout UNC, with the intention of making consciousness of the wide array of investigation in the UNC group that intersects with improving women’s well being and offering an natural environment for forming new collaborations and instruction options for trainees. Areas of interest consist of mental wellbeing, endocrinology, infertility, maternal health, hormonal overall health, delivery command and mood disorders, adolescent progress, autoimmune problems, and breast, ovarian, and endometrial cancers. The seminars are open up to all interested people.

Wendy Brewster, MD, PhD, Professor of Gynecological Oncology and Director of the Center for Women’s Well being Investigate and Russell Broaddus, MD, PhD, Joe W. and Evelyn M. Grisham Distinguished Professor and Chair of Pathology and Laboratory Drugs, will supply keynote lectures on Oct 11th, 12 – 1pm.
