Heather Lorden, DPT, affiliate professor of actual physical therapy, coordinated the participation of learners from the DPT Application.

“Approximately 12 of our DPT college students volunteered to assist with established-up, participant engagement and clear-up things to do as aspect of Blaze Day,” Lorden said. “The DPT learners constantly strive to embody the moral principles that drive the occupation of physical treatment. Kelly Ashley, an undergraduate workout science university student, wasn’t sure what to be expecting when she volunteered.

Student volunteers served established up machines for the function and participated together with members all over the day, like a match of wheelchair basketball.

DPT pupil Sarah Hall also volunteered for the event. 

“Blaze Working day was a good prospect to meet persons with all various backgrounds and master all sorts of new things to do,” Hall explained. “I never ever considered I would be understanding how to play wheelchair basketball and shoot an arrow in the exact day, but I experienced the greatest time executing it.”
